We are looking for a Mid-Level to Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead work on a disruptive technology!Apply by Feb 17th 2025. We can only accept applicants who are eligible to work in the UK.

You will get to

• Lead feature development tasks, debugging and proactive improvements to the cloud platform to enable better data insights for internal and external stakeholders
• Capture requirements and create tickets on Notion. Develop software and committing code to our GitHub
• Work across our front-end web application, backend server and database, all hosted on AWS infrastructure deployed along CI/CD principles
• Report to the CTO and work closely with the Lead Engineer and Technical team
• Work with the Research and Operations teams to aligning software development work with company priorities
• Liaise with external contractors for more complex software development and architecture tasks

We’d love to hear from you if

• Professional background in Software Engineering, Web Development, Data Science or related topics with 4+ years of work experience in a relevant field
• You have experience working in an agile software development environment
• You have working experience with a selection of technologies: ReactJS (front end), NodeJS (back end), MySQL (database), Docker (containers) and AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Cloudwatch) 
• Knowledge of using external APIs (Metabase, Maxbox, Open Weather API, Google Docs) and Balena (IoT device/ fleet management) is beneficial
• Are process-driven, quality-focused and hands-on in problem-solving through ideation, experimentation and testing
• You thrive when faced with challenges in unknown topics, and you are able to conduct research and apply what you have learned. A keen attention to UI/UX would be a bonus
• Work well in a team, able to communicate technical ideas and concepts clearly
