DV Cleared Data Scientist

• Location: Bristol (On-site/Hybrid)
• Salary: £50,000 - £58,000 + 10% bonus
• Package: £4,460 Car allowance

Overview

We're seeking a DV Cleared Data Scientist to work for one of the leading digital solution provider's in the United kingdom whom are recognised as a key player in helping business' transform across the public sector/defence domain.

The DV Cleared Data Scientist should have a background in data science, mathematical modelling and/or ML, with a focus on using advanced analytics techniques to support data centric decision making in government organisations, police forces, aerospace, defence, and security businesses.

This is an opportunity to join a high performing team that works with a wide variety of clients in the defence arena. As a result, you will gain a huge amount of experience in a short space of time and have the opportunity get exposure to the latest technologies and trends.

Role requirements

• Current/existing DV Clearance
• Experience in working in the Defence and Security sector.
• Experience working with clients to translate business needs into solutions
• Experience working with common tools like python, ,R, SQL and Excel for modelling/analysis
• Experience of leading and delivering solutions that involved one or more of the following specialisms: advanced analytics and data science, developing operational research models, big data platforms, data visualisation or dashboard development.
• Experience of conducting analysis for evidence-based decision making, developing models and analyses to support data centric decision making
