Director of Data

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead official statistics and transform data outputs for the UK higher education sector. As the voice of data, you will bridge the gap between complex datasets and stakeholders, ensuring that data is accessible, understandable, and impactful. You will also lead the 'Data Publication Modernisation' programme to enhance user experience across the HESA website.

Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, you will oversee the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards. You will manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including government bodies, and represent the organization in sector groups and forums.

In this permanent role, you’ll be responsible for driving innovation in data science and automation, working collaboratively with technical teams to implement new technologies and approaches. Hybrid working options are available from hubs in London, Bristol, Manchester, and Oxford.

Salary:£85,000 - £95,000
