A bit about the role.

We're looking for a talentedData Scientistto join our growing Data & BI team and help us transform the way we use data to optimise marketing, growth and acquisition efforts.

In this pivotal role, you'll partner closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, brand, and digital product acquisition teams to ensure our spend drives maximum impact while uncovering new opportunities for growth. Your work will not only influence our marketing strategies but will also directly support our company's exciting journey as we expand our reach in the market.

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in experimentation, geo-testing and causal analysis techniques. Experience working with marketing teams, including on multi-touch attribution and/or media mix modelling is also highly desirable.

Examples of projects you will work on include:

  1. Designing, and analysing a programme of experimentation across our marketing channels via incrementality tests and/or geo tests to understand the true impact of our marketing activity.
  2. Supporting the acquisition teams in conversion rate optimisation through AB testing and product analytics.
  3. Building out and optimising our mix-media marketing model to gain a better understanding of channel incrementality based on conversions and longer-term customer ROI.
  4. Developing models to predict a customer's LTV at sign up; validating the use of predictive LTV as a signal to optimise paid marketing spend.
  5. Investigate potential sources of channel cannibalisation across our different sources of demand.

A bit about you.

Requirements

  1. 3+ years of experience working in data science.
  2. A strong understanding and background in experimentation and causal inference, including AB testing and geo-testing.
  3. Experience in one of R or Python for data manipulation, visualisation and statistical model development.
  4. Strong competency in SQL.
  5. Ability to create compelling stories with data to describe and communicate data insights.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to haves

  1. Experience working with marketing teams to drive growth and optimise marketing channel spend.
  2. Experience building and optimising mix-media models.
  3. Experience with DBT (data build tool).

Our interview process:

  1. Application review
  2. Initial call (30 minutes): Quick introductory chat with our Recruiter.
  3. Take home task: This will be sent to you via email and will be used to understand more about your technical skills.
  4. Technical interview (60 minutes): Remote interview where you'll be asked to run through your task and discuss practical examples from your experience.
  5. Final interviews (90 minutes): In-person in our office in White City where you'll get a chance to meet your peers and members of the Senior Leadership team.

Logistics:

  1. This team works 3 days per week from our West London office (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days from home. This is non negotiable, so please only apply if you're within a reasonable commute of London.
