Data Scientist £500 - £550pdOutside IR35Remote6 month contractIO Associates have a contract position for an experienced Data Scientist to join an expanding startup Founded over 8 years ago, they're creating groundbreaking solutions, utilising AI-driven digital nose technology capable of detecting an extensive range of scents. This innovative technology holds the potential to transform various sectors, and after substantial funding they are looking to expandAs a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing highly accurate predictive models for IoT data analysis, working with and guiding the Machine Learning and Data Science team. You will be in charge of preparing your own models from raw data through feature engineering and modelling to cloud syncsRequirements; * 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science* A Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, Experimental Psychology or similar discipline* Solid expertise in Python, SQL and cloud ML platforms, particularly AWS SageMaker* Adequate statistical knowledge with experience applying it to real-world problems* In-depth expertise in predictive supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning ML, including techniques such as neural networks, gradient-boosting frameworks, random forest, regressions, time series analyses (ARFIMA, ARCH)Interested in hearing more?
