Data Architect

Job Title: Order to Cash (O2C) DataArchitect

Location: HoustonTexas
Duration: 6 months

Weare seeking an experienced and highly skilled Order to Cash (O2C)Data Architect to design and manage the data architecture for ourO2C processes across multiple applications. The ideal candidatewill have a deep understanding of O2C processes data management andintegration strategies. This role will be responsible for ensuringdata consistency integrity and availability across various systemsenabling seamless O2C operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Architecture andManagement

• Design developand maintain the O2C data architecture across multiple applicationsensuring alignment with overall enterprise dataarchitecture.
• Develop and enforce datamanagement policies standards and procedures to ensure data qualityand integrity.
• Ensure data security andcompliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Integration andInteroperability

• Designand implement data integration solutions to facilitate seamlessdata flow between different applications involved in the O2Cprocess.
• Collaborate with IT and businessteams to define and implement data exchange protocols APIs andmiddleware solutions.
• Evaluate and integratethirdparty data solutions and services as needed.

Data Modelingand Analysis

• Create andmaintain logical and physical data models for O2C processesensuring they meet business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize data flows and processes to enhanceperformance and reduce redundancy.
• Providedata analytics and reporting solutions to support businessdecisionmaking.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business analysts developersand other stakeholders to gather and translate businessrequirements into technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teamsduring the implementation of O2C solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for endusers andtechnical staff on datarelated best practices and tools.

Project Management

• Lead dataarchitecture projects from inception to completion ensuring timelydelivery and quality outcomes.
• Develop projectplans timelines and resource allocations for data architectureinitiatives.
• Monitor project progress andadjust plans as necessary to meet objectives anddeadlines.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceInformation Technology Data Science or a related field. Mastersdegree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years ofexperience in data architecture data management or relatedroles.
• Proven experience with O2C processesand systems in a multiapplication environment.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of database managementsystems (DBMS) such as SQL Server Oracle MySQL orsimilar.
• Experience with data integrationtools and technologies such as ETL ESB APIs and data warehousingsolutions.
• Proficiency in data modeling toolsand techniques.
• Familiarity with cloudplatforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and related dataservices.
• Knowledge of data security practicesand regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. GDPRHIPAA).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in data management or architecture (e.g.CDMP TOGAF).
• Experience with ERP systems suchas SAP Oracle EBusiness Suite or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
