Position Overview:

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in helping our clients navigate the complex landscape of energy and environmental data. You will work with a variety of data sources, analyze trends, and support decision-making through your insights and expertise. This role will involve collaborating with project teams, managing datasets, performing statistical analysis, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources related to energy consumption, emissions, environmental factors, and sustainability metrics.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of energy usage trends, carbon footprints, and environmental data to support clients in their sustainability goals.
  • Apply statistical techniques and models to identify patterns, correlations, and forecasts relevant to energy transition and environmental management.
  • Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and actionable format.
  • Work closely with project teams and clients to understand their data needs and tailor analytical solutions to specific requirements.
  • Support the creation of tools and systems for automated data collection and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity, performing regular audits and updates of datasets.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including data models, methodologies, and assumptions.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the energy sector, environmental policies, and emerging trends in data analytics.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets, preferably within the energy, environmental, or sustainability sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of energy systems, environmental policies, and sustainability practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with renewable energy data, emissions reporting standards, or environmental impact assessments.
  • Experience in geospatial data analysis (e.g., GIS tools).
  • Understanding of energy transition frameworks such as net-zero goals or carbon offset projects.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques or advanced statistical modeling.
