We have a truly diverse workforce, with members of staff coming from all corners of the world.Avantia Law is offering a permanent, full-time position with the flexibility of remote working, anywhere in Europe*.*Note for candidates based outside of the United Kingdom, this role will be offered on a freelance/consultancy basis.THE ROLEWe’re looking for an experienced Lawyer to spearhead the negotiation of investment-related NDAs, joinder agreements and other key commercial contracts that our clients rely on. You’ll manage every phase of the contract process—from initial review and negotiation, guided by client playbooks, all the way through to document execution. As the primary point of contact for your clients, you’ll play a crucial role in building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships.Master of Negotiation : You'll dive into fast-paced, high-volume negotiations on pre-M&A contracts (mainly investment related NDAs), collaborating directly with counterparties while ensuring rapid turnaround times. Your insight will keep client playbooks sharp and up-to-date.Client Relationship Maven : As a trusted advisor, you'll manage and strengthen your client relationships, ensuring they see you as their go-to expert in corporate law.Collaborative Leader : Working closely with fellow Avantia lawyers and paralegals, you’ll mentor junior team members, review their work, and support training efforts to help the whole team thrive.COMPETENCIESComfortable with a fast-paced, changing and dynamic environment with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.Efficient. Please let your Talent team contact know ahead of any interview, we will be happy to suggest or confidentially discuss reasonable adjustments.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSLicensed to practice Law in the UK, Europe or USA.4+ years’ corporate/ transactional law experience, either in-house or private practice.Familiarity of working with asset managers, investment banks or other financial services firms preferable but not essential.Experienced with independently negotiating pre-M&A contracts (NDAs, NRLs, joinders, engagement letters etc.)Tech savvy and able to adapt to Avantia’s technology suite (e.g. HighQ).
