CDTR are seeking a cutting-edge Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineerto bring next-level innovation to tech-driven, immersive entertainment experiences. In this pivotal role, you'll design and deploy machine vision and image processing solutions on edge devices like Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson, working at the intersection of creativity and technology. Collaborating across software and engineering teams, you'll help shape groundbreaking experiences that redefine the possibilities of themed entertainment.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop, optimise, and deploy machine vision algorithms for edge devices.
  • Create real-time image processing pipelines using OpenCV and other relevant tools.
  • Create and integrate machine learning models for HMI and pattern recognition tasks.
  • Design and implement solutions on Linux-based platforms, such as Raspberry Pi and other edge devices.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to align system requirements and integrate components.
  • Conduct experiments, analyse data, and refine algorithms to meet performance targets.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in embedded vision systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, algorithms, and testing procedures.


You should have:


  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or C for developing computer vision applications.
  • Expertise in OpenCV, CUDA, and other image processing libraries.
  • Experience with deploying machine learning models on edge devices.
  • Solid understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller platforms.
  • Familiarity with Linux OS environments and command-line tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Knowledge of hardware-software integration in embedded systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to emerging technologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative machine vision and edge computing solutions.


It would be great if you have:


  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Jetson, Raspberry Pi and similar edge computing platforms.
  • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other deep learning frameworks.
  • An interest in performance optimisation for CPU and GPU.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like depth cameras, stereo cameras, sensors, and actuators.
  • Experience with point cloud capture, processing and rendering.
  • Understanding of security and optimisation techniques for edge devices.
  • Experience with embedded hardware and software development.
  • Proficiency in C# .Net.
  • Working knowledge of Games/Rendering Engines.
  • Familiarity with technical engineering and equipment, game development, media development and creative design.
  • A passion for/experience in Themed Entertainment, Cruise/Hospitality and Immersive Experiences.
