We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading banking client for an experiencedCloud Architectwithenterprise-level Java experienceto join their team on a long-term Inside IR35 contract, based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across the organization to design scalable cloud solutions.
• Solve complex problems with pragmatic, innovative approaches.
• Work closely with the engineering team to identify reusable patterns for mass adoption.
• Develop clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Be hands-on, actively testing and evaluating potential solutions with the engineering team.

Key Requirements:

• Proactive and motivated individual, with a proven track record of working in collaborative environments.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and engage across teams.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Computing, preferablyAzure.
• Strong background in Software Engineering, Architecture, and Java developmentwithin enterprise-level systems.
• Experience migrating legacy systems from on-premise to cloud-based architectures, with a strong understanding of trade-offs and benefits.
• Familiarity with modern architectures, including data streaming, real-time processing, distributed computing, analytics, machine learning, and data warehousing.
• Previous experience in large IT organizations and technology transformation programs.
• Ability to influence decision-making and build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.
