This is a fixed-term post for 1 year.

Senior Clinical Fellow

We are offering a clinical fellowship in the Trauma & Orthopaedics unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Glasgow Royal Infirmary is a trauma unit and also provides significant tertiary orthopaedic trauma and elective services. This post will provide excellent exposure to the whole range of adult orthopaedic practice, with an opportunity for a subspecialised focus in chosen areas.

Duties of the post

The SCF will work as part of the Orthopaedic Team undertaking inpatient and outpatient duties at a middle grade level. Brief outline of duties involved is shown below:

Management of Elective & Trauma patients. Second on-call for Trauma (SpR on-call rota), providing cover for the CT/CDF on-call in the hospital. Elective & Trauma Theatre duties as required. Orthopaedic Clinic & Fracture Clinic duties as required. Daily ward rounds. Participate in the Unit Educational Programme
