Chief Financial Officer


We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our growing company while working closely with the CEO and management to scale the business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring key financial metrics are up to date and reported on regularly
  • Work with the CEO to prepare and participate in investor meetings, management, and business update meetings
  • Ensure all financial data is well organised and kept up to date
  • Take ownership of tasks the CEO assigns for CFO ownership
  • Work with company lawyers on legal matters
  • Supporting with client contracting and payments
  • Deliver on accounts payable and accounts receivable needs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and collections.
  • Ensure timely cash recognition
  • Manage day-to-day finance operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and issues and making recommendations for improvement
  • Managing and ensuring compliance with all tax-related matters
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to our stakeholders, including monthly and quarterly financial statements, and other ad hoc financial reports as required
  • Manage the cash flow of the company, including monitoring and forecasting cash balances, coordinating cash disbursements
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including tax reporting and filing requirements
  • Work closely with the executive team to provide financial guidance and support for strategic decision-making
  • Help ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures to ensure the company's financial stability and growth


Qualifications:


  • Professional accounting certification
  • Experience with due diligence in fundraising and exits
  • Experience in financial management, preferably in SaaS/ Saas and AI. Preferably in life sciences SaaS and SaaS/AI.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, tax regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders and executive teams in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel.
