The Role: As a hands-on ML Engineering Authority, you'll be at the forefront of steering complex radar/sonar system projects while nurturing up-and-coming Data Science/ML engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Additionally, you'll be crucial in managing technical aspects of multimillion-pound bids and driving business development efforts. Required Skills/Experience: British Born and Sole British Passport Holder Strong technical leadership and management skills in significant engineering capacities. Leading the development of Electronic Warfare Solutions covering various domains. Exceptional commercial acumen managing multimillion-pound bids and business development. In-depth knowledge of radar principles (Doppler, pulse, continuous wave, synthetic aperture), radar signal processing, and algorithms. An extensive network spanning academia, defence, suppliers, and commercial sectors. Ability to influence MoD perspectives and translate customer needs into solutions. Profound understanding of mathematical modelling and practical design limitations. Proficiency in C/C++, Python, VHDL/Verilog for FPGA programming, radar simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink), and real-time embedded systems. Proficiency in designing and validating concepts throughout the development lifecycle.
