Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 plus up to 10% annual company bonus

Business Development Coordinator

In this exciting position, you’ll collaborate closely with our Business Acquisition and Marketing teams, providing crucial support to enhance organizational efficiency. Your role will involve engaging with both new and existing customers, helping to generate new business opportunities, and ensuring seamless coordination across multiple stakeholders.

You’ll initially focus on supporting our business development and sales teams, managing a high volume of pre-qualification and tender activities. Your contribution will be essential in driving our continued growth and success.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

Beam is an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to change as we grow. Upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Follow-Up:Manage Salesforce leads, filter opportunities, and make initial client contact.
  • Inbox Management:Oversee Sales and Information inboxes, directing relevant opportunities to BD/Account Managers.
  • Portal Management:Maintain and monitor client portal memberships and public tender portals like TED and Negometrix to capture relevant opportunities.
  • Prequalification Responses:Collaborate with Finance, HSEQ, and Tendering teams to generate and maintain PQQ responses.
  • Report and Event Support:Assist with board report generation, event planning, and logistics for conferences and client meetings.
  • Salesforce Superuser:Develop reports, measure key metrics, and maintain data accuracy in Salesforce.
  • Tender Preparation:Support the Tendering Team with formatting tenders, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Travel Booking:Organize department travel efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Document Management:Keep the “Boilerplate” file updated with the latest technical, commercial, and IMS information.
  • Relationship Building:Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and external agencies.
  • Administrative Support:Provide additional support to Business Unit Directors as needed.
