Job Description: Back End Developer - AI Start-up

Hybrid working option - 1 or 2 days in the office until after launch.

Join a stealth-mode AI startup revolutionizing the artificial intelligence space. With £8M in private funding secured, we are free from the constraints of venture capital and private equity, allowing us to focus on building a groundbreaking product that is ready to scale globally. The product is already functional, tested and ready to go. I need to find a skilled Back End Developer to take it to the next level, build out the connectors and get ready for launch.

Role Overview:
As a Back End Dev, you will play a pivotal role in deploying and scaling a revolutionary AI product. You'll develop solutions to enable seamless deployment, secure data storage, and efficient server management, with the ultimate goal of achieving a "one-click" deployment system. This role requires adaptability, innovation, and a deep understanding of cloud technologies and AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Deployment:

• Develop scripts to configure cloud resources (AWS or other platforms) tailored for customer use.
• Automate deployment processes for the AI software, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Establish single sign-on (SSO) connections for seamless integration with the AI system.

Storage Management:

• Build and manage secure, customer-specific storage systems for AI data.
• Design secure credential management systems for authentication.
• Collaborate with the team to integrate storage solutions with both the frontend and AI backend.

Server Management:

• Architect and manage scalable server solutions to handle increasing user demand.
• Monitor and optimize resource allocation and session management.
• Configure DNS settings and integrate applications with the website (where applicable).

Scaling Objectives:

• Prepare the system to scale to 10,000 and eventually 100,000+ users monthly within the first year post-launch.
• Work towards a rapid deployment capability, enabling subscriptions to go live within three hours.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive LLM Experience: Proven expertise in working with large language models and AI systems.
• Python Proficiency: Advanced skills in Python development, with experience in scalable architectures.
• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced startup environment.
• Cross-platform Knowledge: Initial development for desktop, with readiness to expand to iOS and Android.
