Automation Engineer

Role: SCADA / PLC Automation Engineer Salary: £40k - £60k per year benefits Location: Fully Remote, UK Are you a Manufacturing Automation Engineer who is looking for something just a little bit different? He’s looking for someone who shares his joy at breaking things and then fixing them to understand how things work…someone who is a true engineer at heart. He wants someone who has several years of SCADA and PLC programming experience (Siemens preferred though Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi is fine). You’ll have worked with current and obsolete PLC/SCADA systems and will ideally have a good understanding of databases such as Microsoft Sql Server or MySql. Any programming experience with Python, C++ or BASIC would be advantageous, BUT, if you don’t have strong programming experience but are able to learn quickly and are excited about adding more programming experience to your armoury then you will still be considered Ideally you will also have at least some experience of working within food manufacturing environments. This role will be hybrid with time spent between your home, their office in South Yorkshire and client sites across the UK, so you must be comfortable with travel.
