Job Description

As an Architecture Director, you will be part of a team responsible for designing the Enterprise Architecture for Sportrada r.

You will help design and deliver the API/Platform strategy, partner closely with the business to design the architecture for large programs of work and define the standards and governance that will shape the future of the organization.

THE CHALLANGE:

Be accountable for the architecture of strategic programmes of work

Help design and deliver our API/Platform strategy

Shape the technology platforms for our internal and customer facing systems

Drive technical cohesion and standards across our global engineering teams

Provide technical governance across the business

Help lead and inspire the Architecture community

YOUR PROFILE:

Strong Architectural experience with a variety of modern technologies and platforms

Experience working on programmes that span multiple business units

Track record of coaching and mentoring technical teams.

Experience with modern methods such as DevOps, Domain Driven Design, AgileProduct Delivery

Working experience with one or more of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS Preferred)

Positive and inclusive communicator and collaborator.

Pragmatic practitioner, able to balance an idealized solution with real world constraints.

Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to influence and evangelise changes across teams.

Strategic thinker, able to keep the long-term goals in sight whilst delivering today's needs.

A hands-on driver with a clear focus on delivery and what pushes the organization forward.

• As a strong plus we would consider relevant architectural experience with a range of items from:Machine Learning / AI,Streaming architectures with Kafka and Flink,API Engineering and Enterprise Data Modelling,Microservices and Serverless Architectures, Cybersecurity, Container Orchestration
