Whilst head office is based in County Armagh, they're looking for the right person to be based in Belfast, currently with access to attractive office space with the view to either retain this or establish a new base in the Lisburn Road area. Your new role As the company's Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for producing technically sound architectural deliverables (drawings / specifications / detailing / schedules) using AutoCAD & other software, in accordance with building standards and regulations. You'll also be involved with site visits, surveys and interfacing with clients, suppliers and 3rd parties consultancies / agents in a collaborative function on live schemes. Reporting directly into the Architect / Director, you'll bring projects from the page to reality, developing your foundational skills into becoming a rounded member of the team. What you'll need to succeed You'll have a relevant Architectural degree (Architectural Technology & Management or equivalent), with 2-3 years experienced of working in a design office environment. You'll have worked on projects from at least one of the sectors listed in the company introduction above, and have proficiency in the use of AutoCAD software and experience compiling technical packs for projects, as well as navigating planning & building control procedures. What you'll get in return A full-time position with a small practice going from strength to strength, and at a pivotal time of growth. This is a good opportunity to get in at base level, and develop as the company develops in a position of influence. Package and details will be disclosed throughout the process, and interviews are likely to be arranged in the next few weeks.
