Salary: £50-60k

Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Work Pattern: Permanent, Hybrid (3 Days in the office, initial few months 100% in the office)

About the Role

As a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer, you will play a key role in researching, designing, and implementing machine learning and artificial intelligence models to enhance an advanced product portfolio. You’ll contribute to both the research and development phases within a SCRUM team, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead AI/ML projects from concept to implementation, providing technical guidance to the team.
  
  
• Develop state-of-the-art computer vision models and integrate them into software platforms.
  
  
• Manage and optimise AI model codebases for production-level performance.
  
  
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and refactor existing software to maintain stability and prevent technical debt.
  
  
• Maintain and expand unit testing to ensure robust software delivery.
  
  Requirements:
  
  
• Advanced programming skills in Python and experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
  
  
• Proven expertise in delivering computer vision-based AI projects.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of convolutional models and performance optimisation for image-based systems.
  
  
• Solid understanding of Git, DevOps, and software engineering best practices.
  
  
• C#/.NET programming experience in Visual Studio.
