THE ROLE

This role’s main goal is with minimal supervision from more senior consultants and managers, handle portions of larger projects, including data design, analysis, written communications and client interaction. Providing support, advice and guidance on the correct application of a solution or technique. Working with business operations and business analysts to create and optimize workflow processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and Implement Solution

• Design and implement AI & Data solutions to address complex business challeges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing systems and workflows.
• Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI algorithms.

Ensure System Performance:

• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of AI & Data solutions.
• Oversee the design, quality, security, and governance of data architectures and databases.
• Optimise databases for performance, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

Innovation and Research:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Conduct research and experiments to explore new AI techniques and methodologies.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Develop and maintain documentation for AI & Data projects and solutions.

IBM Watson.x and Design Thinking:

• Utilise IBM Watson.x capabilities, including AI, data, and governance, to enhance AI solutions.
• Apply design thinking principles to AI & Data solution development and facilitate design thinking workshops.

Client Consulting:

• Provide solution consulting to clients, including needs assessment, solution design, and implementation support.

Must Have:

• +10 years in AI, data architecture, or related fields.
• Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and AI technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.Experience with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.Proficiency in database management systems (e.g.,SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions and ETLprocesses.

IBM Watson.x and Cloud Platforms:

• Extensive experience with IBM Watson.x tools and platforms, including AI, Data, and Governance.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Consulting and Design Thinking:

• Proven experience in solution consulting, including needs assessment, solution design, and implementation support.
• Certified Design Thinking Practitioner with experience in facilitating design thinking workshops.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Prefered Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and LLMs.
• Strong understanding of industry-specific data requirements and regulations.Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
• Proven track record of successful AI & Data project implementations.
