Warehouse Operative

Location: Trafford Park

We are looking for a hardworking and reliableWarehouse Operative / Driver to join our busy team. This is primarily awarehouse-based role, where you'll be responsible for picking, packing, loading stock, supporting inventory management and maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

However, during particularly busy periods, holidays or when operational demands require, you may also be asked to support the delivery team by making customer deliveries using company vehicles. As such, a full UK driving licence is essential, and flexibility to assist with both warehouse and driving duties is key to success in this role.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play an important role in ensuring products are handled safely, customer orders are fulfilled accurately and our customers receive an excellent level of service at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack and load customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
  • Support stock control, inventory management and stock-taking activities.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and in line with training and company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Complete all warehouse paperwork accurately.
  • Support customer deliveries during peak periods and when required by the business.
  • Conduct vehicle checks before deliveries and report any defects.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Ability to safely handle heavy or bulky products.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable, flexible and committed to high standards.
  • A willingness to support delivery duties when business needs require.

Desirable

  • FLT Licence.
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems
  • 7.5T driving licence.
