Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.

In June 2022, we announced a $220 million Series D funding round co-led by StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. With a post-money valuation of $1.7bn, the round makes us the UK’s first EdTech unicorn.

But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.

Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.

International Legal Counsel (UK & Germany)

The Role

This is a newly created position within Multiverse’s Legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel. As we expand our international footprint, this role is vital in establishing our in-house legal capability across both the UK and German markets.

You will serve as the primary legal partner for our German operations—including StackFuel GmbH and future acquisitions—while providing commercial legal support to the UK business. We are looking for a collaborative professional who enjoys working across cultures and is excited to contribute to a growing, impact-driven organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • German Operations: Act as the lead legal advisor for German group entities, providing guidance on commercial, employment, and corporate matters.

  • Contract Management: Lead the German commercial contracting lifecycle (B2B, B2C, and B2G), drafting and negotiating agreements that help the business scale safely.

  • Regulatory Guidance: Navigate the German regulatory landscape, including vocational training regulations (AZAV), providing practical advice to support business growth.

  • Strategic Integration: Support post-acquisition workstreams, including contract migrations, governance alignment, and compliance harmonisation for European M&A transactions.

  • Employment Law: Advise on German employment matters, including works council engagement and equity schemes.

  • External Partnerships: Manage relationships with external German counsel to ensure high-quality, cost-effective support.

  • UK & Cross-Border Support: Draft and negotiate UK commercial contracts (tech, data, and partnerships) and act as a strategic bridge between UK and German business functions.

What We Are Looking For

We recognise that excellence comes from a variety of backgrounds. If you meet the core requirements below and are passionate about the role, we encourage you to apply.

Core Requirements:

  • Legal Qualification: Qualified to practice law in Germany.

  • Jurisdictional Experience: A strong understanding of the German legal market and experience working within the UK legal environment (e.g., in-house, international firm, or UK-based role).

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken), with the ability to negotiate and draft legal documents in both languages.

  • Commercial Law Foundation: Experience managing a variety of commercial contracts and regulatory matters.

Great to Have (but not required):

  • Experience in M&A transactions or post-closing integration.

  • Background in German employment law (works councils or incentive plans).

  • Prior experience in an in-house environment, particularly within the tech or edtech sectors.

  • Familiarity with UK commercial legal frameworks.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Practical Judgement: The ability to provide clear, actionable advice to business leaders.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating change and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborative Mindset: A desire to work effectively across different cultures, time zones, and departments.

  • Innovation-Led: An interest in how AI and technology are evolving the legal profession; we value a forward-thinking approach to productivity.

  • Mission-Driven: A genuine interest in contributing to a business that prioritizes social impact.

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 5 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days, 2 company-wide wellbeing days (M-Powered Weekend) and 8 bank holidays per year

  • Health & Wellness- private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, gym membership & wellness resources through Wellhub and access to Spill - all in one mental health support

  • Hybrid work offering - for most roles we collaborate in the office three days per week with the exception of Coaches and Instructors who collaborate in the office once a month

  • Work-from-anywhere scheme- you'll have the opportunity to work from anywhere, up to 10 days per year

  • Space to connect: Beyond the desk, we make time for weekly catch-ups, seasonal celebrations, and have a kitchen that’s always stocked!

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising AI jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.

New AI Employers to Watch in 2026: UK and Global Companies Reshaping AI Careers

For candidates exploring opportunities on ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, understanding who is hiring next is just as important as understanding what skills are in demand. In this article, we explore the new and emerging AI employers to watch in 2026, focusing on organisations that have recently secured funding, won major contracts, or expanded their UK footprint. From cutting-edge startups to global giants doubling down on Britain, these companies represent the next wave of AI career opportunities.

How Many AI Tools Do You Need to Know to Get an AI Job?

If you are job hunting in AI right now it can feel like you are drowning in tools. Every week there is a new framework, a new “must-learn” platform or a new productivity app that everyone on LinkedIn seems to be using. The result is predictable: job seekers panic-learn a long list of tools without actually getting better at delivering outcomes. Here is the truth most hiring managers will quietly agree with. They do not hire you because you know 27 tools. They hire you because you can solve a problem, communicate trade-offs, ship something reliable and improve it with feedback. Tools matter, but only in service of outcomes. So how many AI tools do you actually need to know? For most AI job seekers: fewer than you think. You need a tight core toolkit plus a role-specific layer. Everything else is optional. This guide breaks it down clearly, gives you a simple framework to choose what to learn and shows you how to present your toolset on your CV, portfolio and interviews.
