Job Description:

Darktrace’s internal creative agency is looking for an experienced and highly creative Senior Graphic Designer / Art Director to help shape and elevate a world-class Blue-Chip brand. This is a hands-on maker role for someone with exceptional craft, strong conceptual thinking, and the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visual storytelling across every touchpoint.

We’re building a team of creative-minded storytellers who are passionate about the work and energised by the opportunity to push the brand forward. The right candidate lives and breathes brand experience and design, combining visual excellence with strategic thinking to create exceptional work across advertising, web, digital, data visualisation, print, social, video, keynotes, and events.

You’ll take creative from concept to completion, driving ideation, shaping brand expression, and delivering high-quality work yourself. You have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for craft, and the ability to develop identity-led campaigns, immersive experiences, and standout creative that raises the standard across the team.

What will I be doing:

  • Be a master creative maker: own and develop creative projects from conceptualisation through design, execution, and delivery.
  • Demonstrate the ability to execute on project requirements with urgency and accountability, while managing project requests and priorities outlined by the production team and Creative Director.
  • Create compelling and inventive solutions and concepts for integrated campaigns that uphold and evolve the Darktrace brand.
  • Push Darktrace’s creative voice forward with a sharp design eye, exceptional craft, and a consistently high standard of visual excellence.
  • Develop and execute high-fidelity creative across campaigns, events, web, social, digital, print, OOH, motion, video, multimedia, and interactive experiences.
  • Bring abstract concepts to life through typography, illustration, iconography, photography, storyboarding, and graphic development.
  • Build, maintain, and evolve style guides, brand kits, design libraries, visual systems, and modular design frameworks that ensure consistency, scalability, and excellence across outputs.
  • Help innovate and elevate Darktrace’s design systems, visual language, and event graphics.
  • Contribute strong visual direction across illustration, photography, motion, video, and storytelling in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Work closely with other team members and the production team to establish priorities, fidelity, and timely delivery of tasks.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Brand, Marketing, Product, Content, Account, and client stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful creative solutions.
  • Clearly articulate and present work to the Creative Director and a wide range of creative and non-creative stakeholders in a digestible presentation format.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Darktrace’s business strategies and goals, as well as the brand vision, systems, and documentation.
  • Champion brand objectives, strategy, and visual consistency across projects in partnership with the Creative Director.
  • Continuously self-educate on the competitive landscape, current design trends, emerging platforms, and new tools to maintain relevance in advertising and design.

What experience do I need:

  • 6+ years of relevant design experience, either in a creative agency, studio, or in-house.
  • A BFA, BS, or MFA in Graphic Design or equivalent field is required.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design and concept development, brand systems, campaigns, typography, layout, and high-quality multi-channel execution. (Required to apply)
  • Proven ability to concept, develop, and deliver impactful visual storytelling aligned to strategic objectives.
  • A self-starter attitude with an excitement to work in a fast-paced, low-ego environment.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite / Figma and a strong understanding of digital, experiential, and multi-platform design.
  • Proficiency with business software (MS Office, Google Slides, Keynote).
  • Strong understanding of branding, visual systems, UX/UI principles, and user centered design for digital platforms.
  • A professional knowledge of web and social media standards and limitations.
  • Deep knowledge of motion, animation, storyboarding, and social-first creative development.
  • Experience using generative AI tools for rapid concepts, creative exploration, and mood boarding.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain creative decisions with clarity, confidence, and humility.
  • Strong project management and design operations awareness, with the ability to work effectively within scalable ways of working.
  • Experience in technology or cybersecurity is a plus.

Outline of Success

Success in this role means consistently delivering world-class creative that is on brief, on time, and reflects the highest standards of craft, design strategy, and visual excellence. Successful work will encapsulate the full requirements of the role in every project, every time, combining strong concepts, clear communication, brand consistency, strategic alignment, and exceptional execution across all touch points. This is a hands-on design role, taking projects from initial boarding and exploratory concepts through execution and deployment.

Benefits:

  • 23 days’ holiday + all public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service,

  • Additional day off for your birthday,

  • Private medical insurance which covers you, your cohabiting partner and children,

  • Life insurance of 4 times your base salary,

  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme,

  • Enhanced family leave,

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising AI jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.

AI Jobs UK 2026: What to Expect Over the Next 3 Years

Artificial intelligence is creating jobs faster than the market can name them. New roles are appearing every quarter, existing titles are splitting into specialisms, and the technologies underpinning it all are evolving at a pace that makes even last year's job descriptions feel dated. For job seekers, this presents a genuinely unusual challenge. In most industries, career planning means understanding a relatively stable landscape and working out where you fit within it. In AI, the landscape itself is being redrawn in real time. The roles with the most hiring activity in 2028 may not yet have a widely agreed job title in 2026. That's not a reason to feel overwhelmed — it's a reason to get informed. The candidates who thrive in this market aren't necessarily those with the longest CVs or the most credentials. They're the ones who understand the direction of travel: which skills are gaining value, which technologies are driving employer decisions, and how the definition of an "AI job" is expanding well beyond the tech sector. This article breaks down what the UK AI jobs market is likely to look like over the next three years — covering emerging job titles, the technologies reshaping hiring, the skills employers are prioritising, and how to position yourself ahead of the curve rather than behind it.

New AI Employers to Watch in 2026: UK and Global Companies Reshaping AI Careers

The artificial intelligence job market in the UK is evolving at an extraordinary pace. With record-breaking investment, government backing, and a surge in enterprise adoption, the landscape of AI employers is shifting rapidly. For candidates exploring opportunities on ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, understanding who is hiring next is just as important as understanding what skills are in demand. In this article, we explore the new and emerging AI employers to watch in 2026, focusing on organisations that have recently secured funding, won major contracts, or expanded their UK footprint. From cutting-edge startups to global giants doubling down on Britain, these companies represent the next wave of AI career opportunities.
