Senior AI Operations Manager

This role is primarily remote, with onsite attendance required 2–3 times per month in either Birmingham or London.

We are recruiting a Senior AI Operations Manager to take ownership of the operational performance, reliability and continuous improvement of enterprise AI platforms.

The role is looking for someone who can own AI platforms in production, including reliability, monitoring, incidents, SLAs, operational readiness and DevOps.

Experience Needed

  • Strong experience operating AI, analytics or technology platforms in production.
  • Solid DevOps experience, including CI/CD, monitoring and incident management.
  • Understanding of AI/ML, including generative AI and model lifecycle management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, APIs and enterprise architectures.
  • Microsoft AI experience, ideally Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Co-pilot.
  • Knowledge of AI security, governance and responsible AI.
  • Experience leading or coordinating offshore/distributed teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Typically 5+ years' technology operations experience, with 2+ years in AI/advanced analytics or equivalent.
