Job Title: Python Team Lead – AI Development

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

Work Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Level: A Level

Education: Associate Degree (minimum)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Team Lead to guide a dynamic AI development team. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical coding expertise with proven leadership capabilities to deliver scalable AI/ML solutions. You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy robust AI applications that drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Python developers and AI/ML engineers; oversee project planning, estimation, and delivery timelines.

- Architect and implement scalable, production-grade Python applications, APIs, and services for AI/ML workloads.

- Collaborate with data scientists to translate models and experiments into deployable solutions; optimize inference pipelines for latency and throughput.

- Establish coding standards, code reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Drive performance optimization, profiling, and debugging across distributed systems and cloud environments.

- Define non-functional requirements (reliability, security, observability, monitoring) and implement appropriate tooling (logging, metrics, tracing).

- Support data engineering efforts by integrating data pipelines, feature stores, and data quality checks.

- Lead sprint planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication; provide regular status updates and technical guidance.

- Mentor junior developers, foster knowledge sharing, and promote best practices in Python, software engineering, and AI/ML engineering.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, data governance, and security standards.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Associate Degree (minimum) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- Proven experience (5+ years) in Python development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.

- Strong expertise in Python (3.x), with solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and clean code principles.

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML workflows: model deployment, inference optimization, and serving platforms (e.g., Flask/FastAPI, REST/gRPC).

- Experience with ML/AI toolchains and libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and MLOps practices.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms
