We're looking for a hands-onPrincipal Engineer combining software engineering, data expertise and emerging AI capabilities to build scalable APIs, trusted data products, robust pipelines and intelligent agent-enabled tools.
You'll turn complex business requirements and data into secure, reusable technology that streamlines workflows, empowers teams and delivers measurable commercial impact within a highly regulated environment.
What you'll do- Engineer & integrate: Build production-grade Python services, APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Drive data engineering: Develop robust data pipelines, models and reusable data products, ensuring data quality, lineage, reliability and accessibility.
- Enable AI innovation: Build secure tools and data interfaces that allow AI agents to access information and execute workflows safely.
- Shape technical strategy: Establish scalable software and data architectures, reusable patterns and engineering best practices.
- Lead by example: Stay hands-on throughout the development lifecycle while mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions across teams.
What you'll bring- Extensive software engineering experience, with strongPython, API development and backend engineering skills.
- Provendata engineering expertise, including data pipelines, modelling, data quality and reusable data products.
- Experience withSnowflake, SQL, dbt, Azure Data Factory or comparable data technologies.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms, enterprise integration, testing and observability.
- Exposure to AI agents, tool-calling applications or intelligent workflow automation.
- Principal-level technical judgement, combining architectural leadership with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
