About the Role

As a Product Manager (PM II) at Ocado Group, you will take ownership of product discovery and end-to-end requirements for complex capabilities within your domain. Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, UX, and data teams, you will run targeted experiments, validate detailed hypotheses, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that drive product adoption and directly impact the user experience for our global partners. This is an opportunity to deepen your technical domain expertise, manage diverse stakeholder relationships, and evolve into a key go-to leader within our advanced retail technology ecosystem.

About You

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Product Management or Technical Sales, ideally within an international, distributed work environment or a global business setting.
  • Strong background in technology planning, product launching, and a familiarity with developing scalable, modular, or performance-driven platforms and products.
  • A higher degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, or a related technical field; professional certifications such as Certified SCRUM Product Owner (CSPO), PMP, or Lean are highly desirable.
  • Proven competence in executing rigorous product discovery, setting clear product scopes, performing data analysis, and driving decisions through continuous hypothesis testing and learning.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and motivate cross-functional teams toward shared product goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough product discovery to identify customer needs and solve complex problems within your domain, while establishing high-quality requirements and clear product scopes.
  • Develop, test, and validate detailed hypotheses alongside cross-functional teams, driving critical product decisions through continuous experimentation and independent data analysis.
  • Engage directly with users in their environments to observe usability and analyze adoption patterns, ensuring your capabilities deliver continuous value and clear, impactful outcomes.
  • Align your domain's roadmap with the overarching product vision, utilizing market insights to prioritize features based on their strategic and commercial impact on business KPIs.
  • Lead a broader product area by building strong internal relationships, managing diverse stakeholders, and persuasively communicating product direction across the wider business.
