Your new role
We're looking for a skilled Performance Analyst to help shape the future of the NHS App. In this role, you'll empower product teams with data-driven insight, enabling smarter decisions that directly improve digital healthcare services used by millions.What you'll be doing
As a key member of the analytics team, you'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to turn data into meaningful action.
You will
Develop and maintain insightful dashboards using Power BI and Adobe AnalyticsPartner with product teams to define reporting requirements and translate them into clear KPIs
Deliver ad hoc analysis to support continuous product improvement
Build and apply measurement frameworks to strengthen analytics capability
Design dashboards with consistent metrics and time-based comparisons
Ensure data quality, governance, and alignment across multiple sources
Work closely with analytics and data engineering teams to continuously enhance reporting and insights

What you'll need to succeed
Strong experience with Power BI (or similar) for advanced data visualisation (2+ years)Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Databricks (or equivalent)
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience optimising large-scale queries and managing clusters
Core strengthsA proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
Excellent stakeholder management skills - translating business needs into effective analytics solutions
Experience working in cross-functional teams (Agile and/or Waterfall)
Understanding of the software development lifecycle
Nice to have
Experience with Adobe Analytics or web analytics tools
Exposure to NHS Federated Data Platform or Palantir Foundry
Knowledge of data lakes or advanced relational databases
Involvement in Generative AI projects
Background in healthcare or digital products
