Operations Analytics and Insight Lead | Fintech | London (Hybrid, 3 days a week) | Up to £100k + Bonus

We're working with a well-known, established fintech and online trading business that is looking to hire an Operations Analytics and Insight Lead in London.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced analytics manager to lead a team of 4 to 5, shape operational strategy and play a key role in the business's AI, chatbot and automation work.

The role will involve:

  • Leading and developing a team of analysts, supported by analytics engineers
  • Setting the team's analytical strategy and roadmap with senior leadership
  • Moving the team from reactive requests to a clear, prioritised plan
  • Building frameworks to measure operational performance and spot inefficiencies
  • Delivering hands-on analysis, including A/B testing and statistical significance testing
  • Automating manual processes and improving the team's technical ways of working
  • Providing insight into AI chatbots and an internal copilot, including how well they perform
  • Working on projects across workforce planning, customer service and KYC processes

The role is roughly 60% hands-on and 40% management and strategy.

We're particularly interested in candidates from fintech, financial services or other regulated industries, ideally with experience in operations, customer service or workforce management analytics.

You'll need at least two years' people management experience, strong statistical thinking (ideally backed by a STEM degree) and strong SQL, which will be tested early in the process. Practical experience using AI tools to improve processes is essential. Python, dbt, Airflow, Git and Looker would be a bonus.

Strong stakeholder management is also essential, as you'll be expected to challenge senior stakeholders and influence the roadmap while staying close to the analysis.

Salary: Up to £100k + bonus + benefits
Location: London (hybrid, 3 days a week in the office)

What Is an AI Forward Deployed Engineer? The Fastest-Growing Job in AI for 2026

If you have been watching AI job boards over the past year, one title keeps surfacing again and again: the forward deployed engineer, or FDE. It has gone from a niche term known mainly to Palantir alumni to arguably the hottest role in the entire AI hiring market. Job postings for forward deployed engineers have exploded, salaries have climbed past levels most software engineers will ever see, and the biggest names in AI — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Salesforce, Databricks and Palantir — are all competing for the same small pool of talent. So what exactly is an AI forward deployed engineer, why has demand surged so dramatically, and how do you position yourself to land one of these roles? This guide breaks it all down for AI engineers, software engineers and data scientists looking at their next move.
