Our client is in the Travel & Logistics Sector and is looking to grow their team with a new Lead Developer. This role will be mostly hands on coding (70%) and the rest spent looking after a small team of 4 other developers. This role will be 3 days a week in the Woking office the rest at home.

Description

This role is mainly hands on coding (70%) in C# in an AI first team (Claude) and the rest of your time looking after a small team of 4 developers

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient C# applications.
  • Run scrum ceremonies
  • Sprint planning sessions
  • Uphold architecture and engineering standard
  • Ensure an AI first culture
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements.
  • Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and resolve software issues and bugs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and improve existing software systems and applications.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Profile

Must haves:

  • C#
  • Azure - App Services, Function Apps, SQL databases, App Gateways, APIM
  • AI first developer - used tools like Claude or similar
  • Currently managing or mentoring a small team - full management/team leadership training will be provided
