About Our Client

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in AI and data handling who is looking to take the first step in their technical career. Our client is experiencing strong growth, which offers exciting and varied opportunities for the right candidate to grow and progress within the company.

Our client is looking for a curious, ambitious Junior AI Developer to join its growing AI team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has recently graduated in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science or a related subject, and who is genuinely excited about how AI can solve real business problems.

You don’t need years of experience. What matters most is that you have a strong technical foundation, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in AI that extends beyond your university studies.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside our client’s experienced AI consultants, helping to design, develop and deliver AI solutions for clients across a range of industries in both the public and private sectors.

You’ll learn how to take AI from an interesting idea to something that delivers measurable value for a business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working closely with our client’s experienced consultants, you’ll have the opportunity to:

* Understand client challenges and explore where AI can make a genuine difference.

* Research and evaluate emerging AI and machine learning technologies.

* Help design AI solutions, from initial ideas through to implementation, while keeping data protection and compliance in mind.

* Build prototypes, proof-of-concepts and demonstrations.

* Work with technologies such as generative AI, LLMs, Python, APIs and data.

* Assist with prompt engineering, AI workflows and AI-powered applications.

* Analyse data and help evaluate the performance and usefulness of AI solutions.

* Support client workshops and presentations.

* Document technical approaches and communicate findings clearly.

* Learn to assess AI solutions for accuracy, privacy, security, fairness and responsible use.

* Learn from senior consultants and gradually take ownership of your own areas of work.

What Our Client Is Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

* Have recently graduated, or are about to graduate, in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science or a related degree.

* Have a good understanding of core AI and Machine Learning concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs).

* Have demonstrable practical experience using Git, Python and SQL: you have used them in university, personal or commercial projects and can talk our client through what you built.

* Have experimented with AI or machine learning outside your university coursework.

* Have kept up with developments in AI and enjoy exploring new tools and technologies.

* Have built personal projects, experimented with LLMs, entered hackathons, contributed to GitHub projects or simply spent your spare time figuring out what AI can do.

* Are naturally curious and enjoy solving problems.

* Can explain technical concepts clearly to people who may not have a technical background.

* Are comfortable working as part of a team and learning from more experienced people.

* Are interested not just in how AI works, but in how businesses can use it effectively.

* Desirable: You have been exposed to one or more of PostgreSQL, Linux, Java, JavaScript, APIs or Cloud Computing (Azure, GCP).

You don't need to know everything

This is a junior role, and our client doesn’t expect you to arrive as an AI expert.

Our client is looking for someone with the fundamentals, enthusiasm and curiosity to develop into an excellent AI Developer and Consultant.

Benefits

* 25 days’ holiday, plus Bank Holidays.

* Pension.

* Private healthcare after successful completion of the probationary period.

* Death in service scheme after successful completion of the probationary period.

* Great career development and training opportunities.

What Is an AI Forward Deployed Engineer? The Fastest-Growing Job in AI for 2026

If you have been watching AI job boards over the past year, one title keeps surfacing again and again: the forward deployed engineer, or FDE. It has gone from a niche term known mainly to Palantir alumni to arguably the hottest role in the entire AI hiring market. Job postings for forward deployed engineers have exploded, salaries have climbed past levels most software engineers will ever see, and the biggest names in AI — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Salesforce, Databricks and Palantir — are all competing for the same small pool of talent. So what exactly is an AI forward deployed engineer, why has demand surged so dramatically, and how do you position yourself to land one of these roles? This guide breaks it all down for AI engineers, software engineers and data scientists looking at their next move.
