We're on a mission to change the way businesses make decisions with our cutting-edge AI technology. To achieve that, we’re looking for passionate people to join our open and inclusive workplace. Our inclusive environment welcomes skills and experiences from diverse backgrounds, and defines who we are.

About the role

Signal AI, the AI-powered platform for risk and reputation intelligence, is looking for experienced Freelance Risk Analysts to deliver strategic, data-driven reports for enterprise risk management on a project basis.

In this high-impact freelance role, you'll support our CEO and C-suite clients at Fortune 500 companies by analysing risk data, identifying emerging risks and transforming insights into actionable risk intelligence. You'll work with our proprietary Reputation platform, which quantifies the reputation of hundreds of companies, turning complex data into strategic recommendations that drive smarter corporate decisions.

Project Focus Areas include risk horizon scanning, risk and reputation analysis reports, competitive intelligence, strategic risk assessments, and communications insights.

You'll access our proprietary scoring engine, uncover the "signal in the noise," and create insights reports that senior executives can act upon. Your job is not to build Python scripts; it is to analyze risk indicators, assess potential business impacts and contextualise the “why” behind the data. You’ll operate like a hybrid between a risk intelligence analyst and a strategy consultant from McKinsey.

About you

  • Experienced in risk analysis and/or strategy risk functions, preferably at risk consultancies, intelligence firms or corporate risk departments.

  • Proven track record delivering client-ready strategic risk assessments, supported by data visualisations using our platform and your data analysis skills.

  • A portfolio demonstrating the transformation of complex data into executive-level insights with clear risk prioritization and actionable recommendations.

  • Experience in enterprise risk management/risk intelligence and strategic recommendations - particularly working with risk consultancies or risk teams.

  • Client-facing experience with Fortune 500 or similar enterprise clients in risk advisory or strategic intelligence contexts.

  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills to editorialise your research and present business insights to C-Suite executives with risk framing.

  • Strong data visualization skills - an aesthetic sense, and the ability to select the right data visualizations to tell the story

  • Familiarity with industry-standard risk intelligence/media monitoring/social listening tools.

  • Motivation to work on the next wave of insights, using AI technology to drive business risk intelligence forward

A global outlook and sensitivity to how geopolitical events, regulatory changes, social movements, and emerging threats intersect with corporate reputation and risks.

Not sure you meet every requirement? Studies show that women and other underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they check every box. At Signal AI, diverse perspectives strengthen our teams, drive innovation, and lead to better performance. So even if your background doesn’t align perfectly with each qualification, we encourage you to apply if you’re passionate about this role.

We're dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every Signaller feels welcomed, valued, and heard—a place where you can truly thrive as yourself.

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising AI jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.

New AI Employers to Watch in 2026: UK and Global Companies Reshaping AI Careers

The artificial intelligence job market in the UK is evolving at an extraordinary pace. With record-breaking investment, government backing, and a surge in enterprise adoption, the landscape of AI employers is shifting rapidly. For candidates exploring opportunities on ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, understanding who is hiring next is just as important as understanding what skills are in demand. In this article, we explore the new and emerging AI employers to watch in 2026, focusing on organisations that have recently secured funding, won major contracts, or expanded their UK footprint. From cutting-edge startups to global giants doubling down on Britain, these companies represent the next wave of AI career opportunities.

How Many AI Tools Do You Need to Know to Get an AI Job?

If you are job hunting in AI right now it can feel like you are drowning in tools. Every week there is a new framework, a new “must-learn” platform or a new productivity app that everyone on LinkedIn seems to be using. The result is predictable: job seekers panic-learn a long list of tools without actually getting better at delivering outcomes. Here is the truth most hiring managers will quietly agree with. They do not hire you because you know 27 tools. They hire you because you can solve a problem, communicate trade-offs, ship something reliable and improve it with feedback. Tools matter, but only in service of outcomes. So how many AI tools do you actually need to know? For most AI job seekers: fewer than you think. You need a tight core toolkit plus a role-specific layer. Everything else is optional. This guide breaks it down clearly, gives you a simple framework to choose what to learn and shows you how to present your toolset on your CV, portfolio and interviews.
