DevOps Engineer

Up to £120,000

London (4-5 days a week in office)

This is an opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to work at the intersection of infrastructure engineering and AI technology within a high-performance environment. You will play a key role in building and scaling modern infrastructure platforms, with a particular focus on Kubernetes and on-premise environments that support business-critical workloads.

This role offers exposure to cutting-edge AI infrastructure initiatives while remaining firmly rooted in infrastructure and platform engineering. You will join a collaborative team that values technical excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.

THE ROLE

As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting infrastructure and deployment platforms across predominantly on-premise environments.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Building and supporting Kubernetes platforms and containerised workloads
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Automating infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code using Puppet or Terraform
  • Managing Linux environments, including security, patching, performance, and systems administration
  • Creating automation solutions using Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • Supporting software delivery, release management, and source control processes
  • Working closely with infrastructure, platform engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions
  • Contributing to projects involving AI and high-performance infrastructure environments

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful DevOps Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong commercial experience within DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including deployment and administration
  • Proven experience working within on-premise infrastructure environments
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Puppet or Terraform
  • CI/CD experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies
  • Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • Experience using Git-based source control tools
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working within Financial Services, Trading Technology or other regulated environments

  • Salary up to £120,000 - depending on experience
  • Up to 50% bonus
