They are now looking for an experienced and professionally qualified
Client Accounting Manager to join their close-knit team. This is a varied role offering responsibility across accounting, investment reporting, corporate governance, financial administration and business improvement.
The successful candidate will not only oversee and support the delivery of high-quality financial information but will also play an important role in improving systems, processes and technology across the office, including the introduction of automation, artificial intelligence and Microsoft 365 solutions.
Your Role and Responsibilities:While in this position your duties may include but may not be limited to:
- Supporting and overseeing the delivery of wealth and investment reporting processes.
- Ensuring financial and wealth reporting information is accurate, complete and delivered within agreed deadlines.
- Reviewing reporting information prior to upload and identifying any discrepancies or areas requiring further investigation.
- Supporting investment performance reporting, asset revaluations and intercompany reconciliations.
- Preparing and maintaining master loan summaries, quarterly loan memoranda, loan schedules and asset statements.
- Monitoring loan and mortgage repayment dates and ensuring appropriate action is taken where required.
- Calculating annual asset revaluations and preparing supporting information for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Developing and maintaining investment information systems, including records relating to loans and mortgages.
- Maintaining an accurate electronic investment database, including relevant tax and legal jurisdiction information.
- Designing and maintaining effective investment filing and information management systems.
- Supporting the preparation of financial information and administration for a pension scheme and a number of associated companies.
- Carrying out management-level reviews of management accounts, VAT returns, year-end financial statements and audit files.
- Supporting the finance team in meeting tax, governance and compliance obligations across relevant entities.
- Taking responsibility for company secretarial and corporate governance requirements, including statutory and regulatory filings.
- Maintaining statutory books, registers and corporate records.
- Monitoring compliance with Companies House reforms and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to improve and automate finance, investment and administrative processes.
- Managing projects involving system specifications, testing, implementation and process change.
- Acting as a key point of contact between internal users, external suppliers and senior management.
- Supporting the introduction of new technologies, including artificial intelligence and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Training colleagues and supporting the effective adoption of new systems and processes.
- Driving continuous improvements in efficiency, reporting and information management across the office.
- Working closely with colleagues across finance, tax, administration and compliance.
- Taking increasing responsibility for wider operational and management activities as the role develops.
What You Will Need to Apply:- A professionally qualified accountant with at least three years of relevant experience gained within practice or industry.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
- Experience managing or taking ownership of client, company or investment accounting responsibilities.
- A strong understanding of financial controls, reporting processes and reconciliations.
- A genuine interest in technology, automation, artificial intelligence and process improvement.
- Experience identifying and implementing improvements to systems, processes or ways of working.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, with advanced knowledge particularly advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders, suppliers and colleagues.
- A practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information with discretion.
- A tactful, professional and approachable manner.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.

The role offers a salary of up to
£50,000, alongside an annual salary and bonus review, 10% employer pension contribution and the option to make additional pension contributions through salary sacrifice.
