A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Algorithms Engineer to join a growing department and support the development of advanced Radio Frequency (RF) Seeker technologies.

This role focuses on algorithm development and systems analysis, and reports to the Systems Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing algorithms and ensuring they are fit for purpose
• Conducting system studies and performance analysis
• Identifying system deficiencies and proposing improvements
• Integrating algorithms into complex RF Seeker models
• Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Applying innovative approaches including agile methods and machine learning

Must Haves (Essential Requirements):
• Algorithm development
• Planning and running investigations to inform system design
• Data analysis
• British Citizenship

Ideals (Desirable but not essential):
• Experience with MATLAB (and ideally Simulink)
• Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing
• Experience forming hypotheses and creating validation methods
• Technical report writing
• Exposure to Machine Learning and AI
