AI Software Engineer - Leicester - Hybrid (2 days a week in office) - £75,000

We're partnered with a forward-thinking software company that is embedding Artificial Intelligence throughout its product suite and is looking for an AI Software Engineer to join its expanding engineering team. You'll work alongside talented Software Engineers and AI specialists to develop scalable applications powered by Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies. The business is focused on delivering practical AI solutions rather than experimental research, making this an excellent opportunity for an engineer wanting to specialise in AI development.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop production-ready AI-enabled software applications.
  • Build and maintain backend services supporting LLM and ML functionality.
  • Integrate OpenAI, Anthropic and other AI models into enterprise software.
  • Create scalable APIs and microservices for intelligent applications.
  • Work with cloud infrastructure to deploy and monitor AI workloads.
  • Collaborate across Engineering, Data and Product teams on new AI initiatives.

What we're looking for

  • Passion for AI and enthusiasm to continuously learn emerging technologies.
