We're working with a leading global technology and transformation consultancy looking to hire an AI Governance Consultant to join their growing Digital & Data practice. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of AI regulation, governance, and responsible innovation, helping some of the UK's largest organisations implement practical AI governance frameworks while enabling business value.

You'll collaborate with AI specialists, data scientists, cyber security experts, engineers, and risk professionals across a variety of industries, delivering high-impact consulting engagements focused on responsible AI and emerging technologies.

What you'll have the opportunity to work on
  • Design and implement AI governance frameworks, operating models, policies, and controls.
  • Support clients in navigating emerging AI regulations and standards, including theEU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001.
  • Conduct AI risk assessments, model governance reviews, and responsible AI evaluations.
  • Facilitate governance workshops and engage with senior stakeholders across business, legal, compliance, security, and technology teams.
  • Advise organisations on governance across the AI lifecycle, including model development, deployment, monitoring, transparency, explainability, and human oversight.
  • Help organisations establish governance for Generative AI technologies, addressing risks around privacy, security, bias, intellectual property, and model risk.
  • Work across multiple sectors on varied consulting engagements, with no two projects the same.
What we need from you
  • Experience delivering AI Governance, Responsible AI, AI Risk, or Model Governance projects within a consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with standards such as:
  • EU AI Act
  • NIST AI Risk Management Framework
  • ISO/IEC 42001
  • ISO/IEC 23894
  • OECD AI Principles
  • Experience conducting AI risk or algorithmic impact assessments.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) and their governance considerations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable experience
  • Governance tooling, GRC platforms, or AI inventory solutions.
  • Data Governance, Cyber Security, Privacy, Technology Risk, or Model Risk Management.
  • Professional certifications such as ISO 42001, IAPP AIGP, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or cloud AI certifications.
