We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer / Generative AI Engineer to join a major enterprise AI programme in London with a international Bank.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience across Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, GitHub Copilot and Agentic AI.

You will be building real-world AI applications, intelligent assistants, copilots and automation solutions while helping engineering teams adopt the latest AI development technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

* Design, build and deploy Generative AI and LLM-powered applications

* Develop AI assistants, copilots and intelligent automation solutions

* Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications

* Work with vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources

* Integrate LLM and AI services through APIs and cloud architectures

* Develop and optimise prompts for enterprise AI applications

Skills & Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across several of the following:

Generative AI / LLMs

* Large Language Models (LLMs)

* Generative AI application development

* GitHub Copilot

* Claude Code

* OpenAI GPT / Azure OpenAI

* Anthropic Claude APIs

Agentic AI

* LangChain

* LangGraph

* CrewAI

Software Engineering

* Strong development experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C# or Java

* REST APIs and microservices

* Software architecture and engineering best practices

Desirable Skills

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous but not essential :

* Azure, AWS or Google Cloud

* GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps / Jenkins

* Docker and Kubernetes

* Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
