  • Drive AI adoption across business functions, ensuring solutions are embraced and deliver lasting organisational change
  • Define success measures, monitor adoption and track business outcomes and benefits realisation
  • Support the development of AI governance, responsible AI practices and risk frameworks
  • Stay at the forefront of Generative AI, AI Agents and emerging AI technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and customer experience
  • Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams throughout the AI lifecycle

What we're looking for

  • Experience leading AI Product, AI Transformation or AI Enablement initiatives within a large, complex organisation
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI, AI Agents, LLMs and emerging AI technologies, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
  • Experience delivering AI products or AI-enabled workflows from discovery through to production and adoption
  • Demonstrable experience building AI roadmaps, prioritising opportunities and measuring business impact
  • Experience driving AI adoption, organisational change and enterprise-wide enablement initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders across business and technology
  • Experience working with engineering, data science and architecture teams to deliver AI solutions
  • Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, risk management and regulatory considerations
  • Commercial mindset with experience building business cases and defining value metrics

Nice to have

  • Financial Services, Banking or other highly regulated industry experience
  • Microsoft Copilot or enterprise AI productivity platform experience
  • Experience with AI evaluation frameworks, experimentation or AI performance measurement
  • Consulting or advisory background
  • Experience supporting enterprise AI operating models or AI Centres of Excellence

If you're passionate about helping organisations move beyond AI experimentation into enterprise adoption, and want to play a key role in shaping AI strategy within one of the UK's most respected private banks, we'd love to

If you have been watching AI job boards over the past year, one title keeps surfacing again and again: the forward deployed engineer, or FDE. It has gone from a niche term known mainly to Palantir alumni to arguably the hottest role in the entire AI hiring market. Job postings for forward deployed engineers have exploded, salaries have climbed past levels most software engineers will ever see, and the biggest names in AI — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Salesforce, Databricks and Palantir — are all competing for the same small pool of talent. So what exactly is an AI forward deployed engineer, why has demand surged so dramatically, and how do you position yourself to land one of these roles? This guide breaks it all down for AI engineers, software engineers and data scientists looking at their next move.
