AI Advisory Manager, Technical AI Consultant, Claude, Cloud Technologies, Consulting Background, London

AI Advisory Manager from a consulting background is required to work for a fast growing and exciting AI, Digital, Data and Technology Innovation Consulting arm of a fantastic organisation.

You will have proven consulting experience and will be from a technical background. Whilst the build-phase is in play, there will be a big expectancy to be in their Central London offices circa 3-4 days per week. The rest will be then dictated by wherever the business lands.

There is already a healthy pipeline of business and these AI Consultants are required for the execution part, driven by technology, with proven consulting experience and running / attending workshops on various client sites. Travel to client sites outside of your London office attendance will all be reimbursed.

This is a chance to be part of something new and ground-breaking. As a Manager in the AI consultancy team, you will help clients work out where AI can make a real difference to their business, and how to get there. This is a consulting role first. You will spend your time with clients, listening, asking the right questions, and turning what you hear into clear strategies, plans and recommendations.

You will lead client conversations and workshops, shape AI strategy, help clients decide which ideas are worth pursuing, and run small teams. You will also be hands-on with the tools. They expect their managers to use Claude and other AI tools every day to produce strategies, interview notes, diagrams of proposed solutions and client materials, faster and to a higher standard.

Experience required:

  • Proven consulting experience (minimum of 3 years) in a professional services firm, advisory practice, or a comparable client-facing role, shaping strategy or leading delivery on data, technology or AI work
  • Strong client skills, including running interviews and workshops and drawing out useful information from people at all levels
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down unclear problems and reach clear recommendations
  • Confident writing and speaking, including presenting to senior people
  • A good understanding of AI today: how large language models (the technology behind tools such as Claude) work, what they can and cannot do, the main vendors and platforms, and the major cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud)
  • Regular, practical use of generative AI tools to produce real work, and the curiosity to keep learning as the tools change
  • Experience leading or coaching small teams
  • Experience building business cases or return on investment models for technology spending
  • Familiarity with data platforms, data governance and AI agents (AI that can carry out tasks with limited supervision)
  • Knowledge of AI regulation and responsible AI frameworks
  • Experience with clients in financial services, private equity, the public sector or the mid-market
  • Experience supporting bids and proposals

This is an excellent opportunity within a growing function that can really go places. Apply now for more details…

What Is an AI Forward Deployed Engineer? The Fastest-Growing Job in AI for 2026

If you have been watching AI job boards over the past year, one title keeps surfacing again and again: the forward deployed engineer, or FDE. It has gone from a niche term known mainly to Palantir alumni to arguably the hottest role in the entire AI hiring market. Job postings for forward deployed engineers have exploded, salaries have climbed past levels most software engineers will ever see, and the biggest names in AI — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Salesforce, Databricks and Palantir — are all competing for the same small pool of talent. So what exactly is an AI forward deployed engineer, why has demand surged so dramatically, and how do you position yourself to land one of these roles? This guide breaks it all down for AI engineers, software engineers and data scientists looking at their next move.
