An overview of the role:

In a world of digital transformation and new operating models, organisations are facing major disruptions that require them to transform the way they think and act. You will be joining our rapidly growing Workforce Transformation team within Capgemini Invent, where our purpose is to deliver value to our clients through augmenting people, technology, and new ways of working that generate growth and profitability whilst delighting their workforces.

From delivering workforce planning and people analytics to designing talent strategies and implementing learning technology we help our clients become sustainable, future-ready digital organizations. We leverage the power of data to accelerate change across people, leadership, and culture.

In your role, you will engage with a range of clients to lead and deliver sustainable business outcomes through a variety of people focused programmes which are designed to help clients rapidly adapt their workforces to, and navigate through, complex transformations. You will be generating new ideas and conceptual frameworks to help solve problems, provide steer on delivery, and create insightful evidenced-based findings and recommendations, while identifying and delivering on-sell or new sales opportunities. Through enabling clients to succeed, you will help Capgemini Invent to maintain its position as a market leader in digital transformation.

Why this role?

As aWorkforce TransformationDirector,you will be ready to lead the delivery of small to large Transformation engagements for complex organisations as well as actively participate in business development activities to help grow our team. You’ll work as part of a team of agile problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Contributing to the delivery of wider strategic goals across Workforce Transformation and participating in initiatives that support the growth of Capgemini Invent as a whole. Leading go to market initiatives. Building our brand and market eminence, being a visible leader in the Consulting and Industry community e.g., speaking at conferences, authoring thought leadership, participating in multi-client industry events. Leading, shaping, and delivering of a diverse range of complex people advisory engagements. Designing and creating innovative insights for clients, adapting methods and practices to fit client needs. Leading pursuit and delivery teams to deliver client projects. Ensuring high quality client deliverables/outcomes. Managing operational and risk management aspects of client engagements. Proactively managing stakeholders, building productive and trusted relationships at senior leadership level, acting as client relationship owner for designated accounts and growing these accounts by identifying and discussing key issues and new opportunities with our clients. Leading pursuits. Leading the development of new propositions and workforce transformation solutions and offers for clients across sectors on a range of topical areas such as sustainability, emerging technologies and digital skills. Bringing innovation, understanding of the latest industry and sector trends to ensure the delivery of market leading, relevant, and targeted solutions and content rich thought leadership. Coaching and providing learning and development opportunities for junior team members. Bringing a track record of a strong and successful community of practice building and people leadership experience

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events. Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development. Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

We’d love to meet someone with:

Delivered a range of technology driven People Transformation projects and solutions with experience across People Strategy, Skills Based Organisation, Workforce Skilling Strategies, Competency Frameworks, Digital Skills Academies, Learner Experience, Learning Management Systems. Deep understanding of leveraging technology and generative AI for key workforce interventions such as

workforce and DEI strategies, learning, up/reskilling, culture interventions, hybrid working policies and target operating models, and organisational design

Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions. Experience of proposition building and delivery.Business development– utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c.£2mofconsulting revenues

You will also have proven experience in one or more of the following key areas of expertise:​ 

Strategic Workforce Planning and Analytics including demand and supply analysis, workforce sizing and shaping, developing actionable insights from workforce data to organise and optimise workforce. Experience of working on complex people datasets and models, people analytics tools, workforce planning tools, predictive analytics, and business intelligence tools. Talent including flexible talent strategies, talent acquisition, benchmarking talent, talent governance, creating compelling employee value propositions, designing reward and benefits offerings. Skills Based Organisation, Workforce capabilities and skilling strategies, competency frameworks. Culture, Leadership, DEI Experience delivering end-to-end organisational culture transformation projects and/or culture projects as part of implementing a new technology, an operating model, or ways of working (i.e., agile, hybrid). Leadership coaching. Leadership development frameworks and tools. Data driven insights and diagnostic tools to elevate diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. Learning including advising on learning strategy and functions, creating learning solutions and learning programmes (immersive and experiential), identifying skills gaps, developing learning pathways and upskilling/reskilling initiatives. Designing learner experience, implementing Learning Management Systems (LMS/LXP). Skills Academies (including Digital Skills).

Whilst you will haveLondon, Manchester or Glasgowas an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.

We offer a remuneration package which includes flexible benefits options for you to choose to suit your own personal circumstances and a variable element dependent grade and on company and personal performance.
