You will spearhead the creation of a new function focused on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to adopt dynamic pricing models that adapt to real-time conditions.This is a unique opportunity to own a high-impact product that sits at the heart of our commercial success across a growing portfolio. You’ll define the vision, build the team and deliver a solution that leverages real-time data, predictive modelling and machine learning to optimise pricing decisions at scale.The Role By joining our team you’ll:Develop a comprehensive roadmap for a sophisticated, real-time pricing and forecasting solutionCollaborate closely with stakeholders to align pricing models with business objectivesReview and implement advanced mathematical models, optimisation algorithms, and machine learning techniques to predict demand, optimise pricing, and maximise revenueLeverage historical, geographic economic and market data to create a robust pricing strategyLean on the group architecture team to ensure AI solutions are robust, explainable, and compliant with data security and privacy regulationsUse AI to integrate real-time data feeds (competitor analysis, customer traffic, events, capacity) into pricing algorithms to dynamically adjust pricingDevelop key metrics to evaluate the impact of pricing strategies and identify areas for improvementStay ahead of emerging trends in AI and pricing - bringing innovation and cutting-edge thinking into everything we buildWhat you can bring to our team:A strong academic background (Masters or PhD) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related fieldExperience in pricing, AI, data science or algorithm design - with a track record of building and deploying real-time pricing or recommendation systemsDeep technical knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data tools (e.g. Spark, Hadoop)Experience of designing and/or implementing business-critical operational algorithmsClear communication skills; experienced communicating with senior stakeholders and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business impactExcellent problem-solving and project management skillsA strategic, commercially focused mindset - and a passion for using data and AI to solve real-world problems at scaleExperience with data structure design and implementationEveryone’s career path is individual and different, so this is just a guide.
