Weimplemented a brand-new platform, improved data systems and nowhave no old technology holding us back.What you will do:Devise, andcoordinate our use of modelling and analytical techniques in orderto identify and implement ground breaking improvements to ourpricing algorithms.Use and display a deep knowledge of pricing,modelling (including Data Science techniques) and priceoptimisation to deliver uplift in model outcomes.Own majormodelling projects from the ground up to implementation.Lead theidentification of challenges and/or opportunities by interpretingour data/MI and presenting appropriate actions.Own sign-offmeetings with senior members of staff, gaining approval for anyrecommended changes, taking responsibility for the cleararticulation of the business benefits/risks and the pros/cons ofthe methodology usedManage, empower, encourage and own thetechnical development of a team Analysts by mentoring, coaching andupskilling on technical ability.Be our 1st line of defence inmaking sure all models implemented are in line with regulatory andfair value measures, escalating and owning anybreaches.QualificationsWe’d love you to have:A passion for data,analysis and drawing meaningful insight from data to share with abusiness to make impactful recommendations and changes.Experiencewithin a Pricing Manager role with extensive knowledge of the UKMotor or Home insurance products / markets.Strong people leadershipskills with the ability to coach, lead and mentor ateam.Significant experience in delivering statistical models, e.g.GLMs, GBMs or other relevant techniquesStrong governance awarenessto make sure models implemented fully adhere to regulatory and farvalue measures.Experience with Radar and other insurance pricingsoftware such as Emblem.Good experience with statistical softwareSQL, SAS or Python.Additional InformationWhy choose us?This is youropportunity to be at the forefront of our game-changing journey andbe part of something truly special!
