Director of Data & AI London based We aresearching for a Director of Data and Artificial Intelligence-someone with hands on experience designing AI solutions to solvecomplex business problems. Your new role is a leadership positionat a business specialising in "turn around" services, saving household brands and rescuing projects using an expert understanding ofdata technologies. The company- A business where technology andbusiness strategy meet- implementing new technologies that has atremendous impact on the day-to-day operations of the world’sbiggest brands. The role Identify and cultivate new consultingopportunities. Lead analytics solutioning and delivery teams incoordination with other teams within the firm. Help formulatehypotheses of potential issues and reasons for financialperformance. Develop data-driven and analytical approaches forimproving company performance. Present findings, key insights andproposed solutions to client senior management. Managehigh-performance teams in implementing solutions. Bring hands onexperience in analysis and applications of data from a wide varietyof complex, high-volume structured and unstructured databases, 3rdparty providers and publicly available data. Understand howpredictive models, machine learning and artificial intelligencealgorithms are used to develop data driven insight and identifystrategies for improving it. Leverage your knowledge of technologyto develop tactical tools and solutions to support businessstrategy execution. Present technical approach, implementationapproach and findings to a non-technical audience. Experienceneeded Strong academic background in science, technology orbusiness studies; Extensive blue chip consulting experience inArtificial Intelligence & Data is essential. Hands-onleadership experience from a highly relevant Data / ArtificialIntelligence role in industry would be desirable. Industryexperience preferred in Retail, CPG and Private Equity. Experiencewith proposal development, strong commercial instincts andinterest. In addition to self, generates growing demand for otherfirm resources in prospective and existing clients. Demonstrableability to consistently extend work for him/herself and other teammembers on client projects. Understands and adapts to complexclient environments and situations. Skilled at defining,communicating, motivating and leading change at executive levelsand across the broader community of partners. A natural andauthentic relationship builder who can coach, mentor and develophigh performing teams of consultants. Demonstrable knowledge ofdata, technology and programming languages. Strong verbal andwritten communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced,entrepreneurial environment comprised of high achievers and highclient expectations. Competence in foreign languages would be anadvantage. Benefits £170,000 - £230,000 base up to 50%bonus
