As a Trading Optimization Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the profitability of energy trading activities. Working within the Trading & Optimization team, you will focus on forecasting, market analysis, and optimization strategies for energy generation, demand, and trading positions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of energy markets, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Essential

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Excel).
  • Knowledge of optimization techniques and algorithmic trading methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.


Desirable

  • Experience with energy trading platforms (e.g., EPEX, Nord Pool, ICE).
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and predictive analytics.
  • Prior experience in energy portfolio management or a similar role.
