About the role:

As our Tech Talent Partner, you'll play an integral role in one of Hook’s core priorities - Hiring, to help us scale our team & business!

You will help shape how we attract, assess, and hire top talent, helping us continue to build an inclusive and transparent hiring process & culture. You'll work closely with hiring managers and interviewers, sharing best practices in talent sourcing, to elevate our recruiting efforts. At Hook, we're committed to providing a great candidate experience that helps individuals grow in their careers. You'll also have the opportunity to support initiatives like process improvements, employer branding projects, and strategic partnerships, driving meaningful change across the organization to help set us up for success as we look to scale next year.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage the full cycle of recruiting candidates from sourcing through to close with a focus on the tech roles in the business i.e. Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Technical Implementation Consultants.
  • Keep our hiring bar high and be a talent consultant to both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Meet with hiring managers regularly to understand priority roles, desired competencies, team culture, position profile, and other key success factors to help us scale.
  • Advise hiring managers on sourcing strategies based on market data.
  • Consistently measure and track all aspects of the recruiting funnel to effectively report these to the hiring teams.
  • Work with our existing team to build process and implement best practices to hire top talent into engineering and product roles.
  • Help build our employer brand & hiring culture here at Hook.

What you will need:

  • Experience in an in-house talent role with key experience hiring for tech teams.
  • Desirable:Hiring engineers with Python, machine learning, and data experience.
  • Experience working in start-ups/scale-ups in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment.
  • Proactive - talent is an area where proactivity and consistency leads to the best candidates and smoothest candidate experience. You outreach proactively and go find the best talent; you don’t wait for it to find you.
  • Creative networker - you love finding new sources for candidates and work hard at forging and maintaining an exceptional network of talent.
  • Data-centric in your approach - you use key talent acquisition metrics to measure our hiring performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Culture champion - you will be the first person to meet candidates; therefore, you are the first impression of our brand. You are passionate about culture and seek to create and maintain a brilliant impression of our people.

Salary & Benefits:

£50,000 - £70,000

27 days holiday (option to buy and sell holiday) + bank holidays.
