Location: Home / Crawley (on site 3 days a week)
Rate: £700 - £750 per day (Inside IR35)

We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Systems Test Engineer for a leading IT Consultancy. The Systems Test Engineer with a strong focus on automation to ensure the robustness of cutting-edge solutions. This role requires a talented professional who thrives on problem-solving and technical excellence, with experience in integration, verification, and test automation. Familiarity with AI/ML testing will be advantageous as we continue to innovate in AI-driven technology.

This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work onsite in Crawley 3 days a week.

Due to the nature of the work valid SC Clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Development & Execution: Perform module, program, and unit testing on individual software components, defining a step-by-step integration tree aligned with the release plan.
Automation & Maintenance: Develop, deploy, and maintain software for test management, design, execution, and results validation to drive efficient testing processes.
IVVQ Management: Plan, estimate, monitor, and control Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification (IVVQ) activities to ensure quality and performance standards.
Staging Environment Support: Provide investigative support for staging or system integration labs using software and hardware tools.
Customer Demonstrations & Satisfaction: Prepare test campaigns, lead customer demonstrations, and ensure test procedures meet both technical and customer requirements.Required Skills & Expertise:

Technical Test Expertise: Skilled in component testing, integration, and verification, with proficiency in automation and test management tools.
Programming & Data Handling: Familiar with scripting or programming languages, troubleshooting, and data-driven testing approaches.
Infrastructure & DevOps Knowledge: Strong experience working with Linux/Windows infrastructure, IVVQ tools, and cloud services, with awareness of DevOps and Agile principles.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven capacity for logical analysis, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to innovate within secure, regulated environments.
Collaboration & Leadership: Recognized as a team player with excellent leadership skills, willing to mentor and guide junior team members.Desirable Experience:

AI/ML Testing: Exposure to testing AI and machine learning technologies.
Software Project Integration: Background in software project development, integration, and validation within a high-assurance setting.Qualifications:

Essential: 1-5 years of experience in Testing, Integration, Verification, Validation, or Software Qualification.
Desirable: Experience in AI-driven projects and familiarity with the latest trends in data technology, including IoT, containerization, and big data
