PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration
  • Works with NIWC stakeholders, development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities
  • Provisions RHEL and CentOS servers in both physical and virtual environments
  • Integrates a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open source applications within existing RHEL and CentOS environments
  • Troubleshoots quickly and efficiently in Linux, Windows based environments
  • Researches and recommends innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks

Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Hardware, or Information Technology
  • Ten or more (10+) years’ experience with systems analysis and design
  • Three or more (3+) years’ experience with Sybase, C, C++, X-Win, Linux, Windows and VMWare
  • One or more years’ (1+) experience with Virtual Path Cross-Connect (VPX), Versa Module Eurocard (VME) or Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA)
  • One or more years’ (1+) experience with Local Area Network (LAN) configuration
  • One or more years’ (1+) experience with Machine Learning (ML)
  • Experience with Software Containerization applications such as Docker or Oracle Cloud
  • Experience configuring System/Network security controls

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
