Staff Analyst Role Summary : Join Doccla’s agile data and analytics team as an experienced generalist, adept in a wide range of tasks from data engineering to business insights. As our company grows, we need a proactive fast learner ready to tackle various data challenges in a dynamic environment. Your expertise in data analytics, data science, visualisation, and ETL will directly support key decision-making and strategy across the business. Responsibilities : Define and monitor KPIs across the spectrum of Doccla teams, including clinical, operations, logistics, commercial and finance Perform complex data analyses using SQL (BigQuery, Snowflake) to extract actionable insights to improve efficiency and experience Use Python for statistical analysis, forecasting, and automating data ingestion tasks Design and maintain dashboards with tools like Looker, Data Studio, or Tableau to visualise key metrics Build and maintain data pipelines using DBT (or Dataform), ensuring reliable and scalable data transformations Assist in automating data ingestion using Google Cloud Functions and tools like Fivetran Partner with cross-functional teams to define data needs and support strategic decision-making Essential Experience : Advanced SQL and Python expertise for data analysis and automation Experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, Data Studio, Tableau) for creating actionable dashboards Hands-on experience with DBT (or Dataform) for data modelling and transformation Familiarity with cloud ingestion pipelines, including Google Cloud Functions and Fivetran Ability to independently problem-solve and work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data insights for diverse audiences Preferred Skill Set : Experience in health tech, particularly working with NHS data Strong understanding of ETL processes and best practices Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataform, Looker Studio) Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance, particularly NHS data policies Ability to contribute to academic-style research papers Why Join Us?
