What you’ll achieve:

The Senior Director of Technical Program Management at Outseer is responsible for driving cross-functional product initiatives, overseeing strategy definition, and leading execution across multiple teams. This role supports the growth, delivery, and risk management of Outseer’s product portfolio, while also fostering the development of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) who drive strategic execution. As a senior leader, the Senior Director manages the day-to-day operations of the TPM team, oversees complex, multi-platform development efforts, and ensures alignment with Outseer’s product vision and organizational goals.

Essential Duties

Lead and inspire a global team of Technical Program Managers, ensuring day-to-day operations align with business goals and drive high performance. Establish and elevate the TPM team by promoting best practices, providing coaching, and fostering continuous professional growth. Drive a culture of change, excellence and innovation which constructively challenges the status quo, and leads to improve outcomes. Spearhead cross-functional projects to deliver critical business results, ensuring efficient execution and risk management across various teams and platforms. Expand team capabilities to keep pace with company growth, maintaining agility and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Ensure the team meets operational and financial objectives by managing expectations, offering coaching, and driving performance development. Introduce tools and training programs to enhance learning and productivity, empowering the team to tackle complex technical challenges. Develop and lead the execution strategy for the global product portfolio, aligning efforts with business priorities and maintaining industry leadership. Scale the TPM team to support rapid growth, while cultivating strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization. Optimize the TPM structure for effective execution, attracting top-tier talent and addressing skill gaps proactively. Foster a customer-centric culture, enabling effective communication, conflict resolution, and the delivery of impactful solutions. Define, track, and analyse key performance metrics to gauge product success and guide strategic decision-making. Align team priorities with broader business objectives, ensuring the development and delivery of industry-leading products. Oversee the growth, delivery, and risk management of the product portfolio, ensuring scalability and effective risk mitigation. Lead with integrity and respect, demonstrating empathy, openness to diverse perspectives, and accountability for decisions and outcomes.

SAFe Expertise:

Must beScaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certified, with the ability to facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution. Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters to optimize productivity and alignment within the SAFe framework. Prepare, plan, and execute Program Increment (PI) planning events, the primary enabler of alignment across all levels of the Outseer SAFe organization. Ensure seamless coordination and alignment across teams through effective application of the SAFe methodology, fostering high performance and continuous improvement. Lead the reporting cadence of SAFe KPI’s that align with the Outseer goals and requirements.

Desired Requirements

S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. 12+ years of software industry experience, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience. 10+ years of people management experience leading teams to deliver technical programs or products from inception to delivery. Lead by example, prioritizing key initiatives and translating strategic vision into actionable, measurable outcomes. Proven experience communicating with and presenting to senior leadership, framing discussions to gather feedback, and working closely with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products. Dedicated to Quality: Takes ownership to maintain and promote high standards, looks for new ways to learn and improve, and embraces a growth mindset to seek and apply feedback from others in an effort to continuously improve Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with large-scale systems. Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving product success through collaboration with product management, engineering, and other key departments. SAFe certification with experience facilitating ART processes, PI planning, and coaching teams through the Agile framework.
